Benalmádena

Calle Real is the most emblematic street in Benalmádena. With more than five centuries of history, this place marks the meeting point for locals and foreigners alike. Its straight line layout divides the historic centre of Benalmádena Pueblo following a layout perhaps inherited from the times of the Arabs, years in which Benalmádena was a small village on the top of a cliff.

Today, full of life, light and colour, flanked by the whitewashed houses typical of Andalusian white villages, it crosses the centre of Benalmádena Pueblo to the Plaza de España, where "La Niña" awaits: The great icon that identifies Benalmádena throughout the world.
